This is a short barrelled (16") Winchester Trapper or Saddle Ring Model 94 chambered in 30-30 Win. I believe the round capacity is 5+1.  It has a 7 digit serial number (5010XXX) indicating it was made in 1981.  It features a small loop, rear buckhorn sight, post front sight, and a flawless wood stock.  There is some old metal discoloration on the upper rear tang and near the loading port, both of which appear to have been addressed long ago. It has a hard black plastic buttplate.  It also has a lever safety.  The barrell is stamped as follows "Winchester Proof Steel." - "Made in New Haven, Conn USA"  and also carries the "WP" brand stamp on the barrell.  The rifle also comes with a gun case.  I have never loaded or fired the gun, but everything does appear to function smoothly and as it should.
