Romanian-made WASR 10/63 AK pattern semiautomatic rifle chambered in 7.62×39mm, manufactured by ROMARM/Cugir in Romania.

This rifle features a 1987 dated Romanian military-surplus front trunnion, consistent with the military-surplus component heritage associated with the WASR 10/63 series and Romanian PM md. 63 rifles.

Unlike a standard modern-production WASR-10, the WASR 10/63 series is particularly interesting because of its use of Romanian military-surplus components and reliability

Features and equipment

• Romanian military-surplus front trunnion: Clearly stamped 1987, with additional Romanian identification markings.

• Side-mounted optics rail: Receiver-mounted side rail with Picatinny-compatible optics mounting hardware.

• UTG Pro tactical handguard: Black railed handguard with markings indicating USA manufacture.

• KAC Rib Rail Panels: lightweight polymer panels are ribbed for an enhanced grip, and help insulate the support hand from barrel heat

• FAB recoil reducing adjustable stock: FAB Defense-style telescoping shock-absorbing buttstock designed to improve shooting comfort.

• Vertical foregrip: Mounted underneath the handguard for an additional gripping surface.

• Tactical sling: Black carrying sling attached to the rifle.

• Three military surplus metal AK magazines: One pictured inserted into the rifle and two additional magazines pictured separately. Will throw in 30 rounds of brass and 60 rounds of steel rounds

• Traditional AKM-pattern construction: Stamped steel receiver, riveted front trunnion, and recognizable Romanian AK-pattern barrel and front sight assembly.

Condition and shooting history

According to my personal experience, this rifle has been exceptionally reliable. It has never experienced a malfunction during my ownership and has consistently cycled both steel-cased and brass-cased ammunition.

The recoil-reducing buttstock noticeably reduces felt recoil, making the rifle considerably more comfortable to shoot.

The exterior has finish wear consistent with use, while retaining its black finish and recognizable military style appearance.

Note: The Optic is for display purposes only and is not included.

Can throw in a Sig Romeo 5 optic and 120 rounds of Tula Steel 7.62 x 39 for $100
