Springfield Armory GI .45 1911-A1 in .45 ACP, model PW9108L, with original Springfield hard case, owner's manual and 3 magazines.

This is Springfield's older GI-series / WWII-style 1911-A1, not the current Mil-Spec model. It was designed as a traditional GI-style 1911 with the classic military configuration.

• .45 ACP
• 5" barrel
• Full-size Government/1911-A1 configuration
• Parkerized finish
• Forged steel frame and slide
• GI-style low-profile fixed sights
• Traditional non-lowered ejection port
• Vertical rear slide serrations
• Spur hammer
• Arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop
• Checkered hardwood “U.S.” grips
• Springfield model/SKU PW9108L
• Includes 3 magazines
• Original Springfield hard case
• Original owner's manual

This is a used shooter, not a safe queen. There are normal exterior handling/use marks, along with visible use/contact wear on the barrel and internal surfaces. It has been cleaned, functions great, and presents well overall. Photos show the actual pistol and condition.

This GI model is a much closer interpretation of a traditional WWII-era M1911A1 than Springfield's later Mil-Spec, while still being a modern commercial Springfield—not an original military-issued pistol.
