I bought this lever action beauty with a ported barrel the first year of production in 1998. Only fired three rounds to see how it shot, with intent to use it when hiking in bear country, but never had it out of the gun safe since. Just too darn nice a rifle, so decided to keep it as a collector's piece and carry a sidearm instead. Like new condition and I'll though in the original box of ammo - less three rounds - for a bargain price of $1,100.
