At its current config, you just need to swap the barrel to use 7.62x39 - there are 2 types of grendel barrels, one that uses the AK bcg and the other that doesn't. The current bcg (a type 2 bcg for a type 2 grendel barrel) is interchangeable w/AK rounds - u just need to use stanag AK mags & change to AK barrel.

Yes, all you need to do is swap the bcg & barrel to use the original 556 barrel that I have in the picture. You get that too, but need to attach gas system to barrel.
