Hand made kiridashi (Japanese marking knife). Blade steel is ZDP-189, a Japanese steel that holds an edge very well. 6-3/4" overall length, blade edge is 2", hand-rubbed satin finish on blade, cord wrapped (and epoxied) handle, leather sheath.
This is a right-handed knife with the blade bevel on one side. It can easily be honed or sharpened by worked the flat side on a stone or a fine grit piece of sandpaper mounted on a very flat surface like a piece of glass.
