I have some great news to report regarding new website updates and features. Since the last article on website updates, I have completed major server-side upgrades, fully secured the Guns Alaska Classifieds website, greatly increased Guns Alaska in Google search results and more. The following is a list of the changes and additions that were made in the last couple months...
Guns Alaska Classifieds Updates And Feature Additions:
- Updated all core website software to latest versions (major updates)
- Fully secured Guns Alaska with a SSL secure website certificate. Please note that you will now see HTTPS in front of our website URL (https://gunsalaska.com). You will also notice a green "locked" symbol next to the URL that indicates you are browsing a safe, secure website.
- Implemented a new feature that allows you to rotate images when posting an item
- Performed significant Search Engine Optimization (SEO) constantly over the last few months, effectively raising Guns Alaska Classifieds to the first page of Google search results for many related search terms. This is extremely important for ALL users (both buyers and sellers). It means that as a seller, your items for sale will be seen more often and easier. As a buyer, there will be more items listed to give you a better selection!
Remember that new websites are tough to get people to use on a regular basis but Guns Alaska has a major advantage in that the site is so highly functional. Stick with us, list your items and please keep spreading the word. The website is a constant work-in-progress and gets better every day.
